rules !
updates are in italics.
1) You have got to have respect for your fellow roleplayers and for the staff. We will not tolerate disrespect. Ever. If any of the staff hears about a member disrespecting others, then that member will be warned, and then banned should the issue continue.
2) We will never, and we mean NEVER, allow Mary-Sues, Gary-Stus, Anti-Sues, Anti-Stus, or otherwise "perfectly (im)perfect" characters. We don't give a shit if you've been roleplaying for six years. If you make one of those characters, then you WILL be denied.
3) This site? It's rated PG-13. Language, violence, and love is allowed to a certain extent. No murdering, no dropping the f-bomb every other word, and fade in/out when you get your freak on.
4) We're an intermediate roleplay. That means, we have standards. Please type at least 175 words every post and keep it quality. Grammar and spelling nazis are on the staff. "We gon' find you."
5) Just because your character may be a mutant does not make them all-powerful. You can still be hurt, you can still be injured, you can still die, and that means NO GODMODDING OR POWERPLAYING. End of story.
6) As far as powers go, please keep them at least somewhat reasonable. Give your characters limits, weaknesses, that stuff, oh, and nothing too extravagant. At least, not yet.
7) If a face claim is taken, it's taken. Talk to the roleplayer about a twin situation if you really, really want them. And if you're the type of person who only ever uses so-and-so and they're taken…well…please don't complain to me. Have a little variety, please. If the character hasn't posted in three weeks, please talk to an administrator.
8) Graphics! Please keep avatars 200x250 or smaller and signatures at the widest 500px.
9) When you join, please change your display name to your character's first and last name in all capital letters.
10) Please post in third person. Some people find that posts written from first person scream of mediocrity and a beginning roleplayer. Seeing as we're an intermediate roleplay, this rule would kind of be best for you to follow.
11) We don't have a character limit here, but we would appreciate it if you kept your character count reasonable and within your control. We don't want you making so many characters that you lose track of who you play.
12) We have canons on this site. Please take no more than two and please do not take two from the same member group.
13) Unfortunately, if we get too many boys or girls, we will be putting bans in place. We will also put bans on age groups in students or students in general if we only have one or two teachers.
14) Have fun!
